Manchester United defender McNair has now been ruled out for three weeks with a hamstring injury

Manchester United fears about the Paddy McNair, that he has brought together their list of defensive casualties with the teenager understood to hold sustained a hamstring injury on Sunday, win over Everton.

McNair has impressed this season having started the last two games for Manchester United.

A 19-year-old, McNair has started the last two Premier League games in central defence because of injuries to Jonny Evans, Phil Jones and Chris Smalling. McNair was expected to be called into the team as Evans is set to miss the matches against the Faroe Islands and Greece with a continuing ankle problem.
